Rotate the Ford badge on the grille and you should find a lock. Use the cars key to open the bonnet
you pull the hood relase lever inside the car under the steering wheel. it should just pop open partly. then there is a safety release under the hood you have to pinch that and the hood should come open.
On the bonnet, under the Ford oval. Insert the ignition key. and turn in the direction shown There is no internal way of opening the bonnet on a Focus.
The starter on a 2000 Ford Focus LX is located under the hood. If you are outside of the car and facing the hood, it is on the right side.
That was tricky, you have to open the hood from front using your keys. Go to the front of the car, rotate the "FORD" label (located at the middle) upward. Behind it, there you can insert the key and tilt it to the left, then to the right, and the hood will pop up! That was a discovery! CHeers
