I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out a way to get into mine w/ no luck, even when i tried looking on the internet all i found was this question that kept popping up.
I finally resorted to taking off the back seats and removing the liner to get to the trunk. The bottom seat just pops off and then there are two bolts at the bottom of the back/top seat you can use a wrench to unscrew. Once you have them unscrewed you can just lift up on the seat then pull it off and then the liner comes off pretty easy. You then have access to the trunk.
Some of these models have the trunk release button in the glove box that works when the key is turned forward, but i wasn't so lucky w/ mine.
Yes it is.
There is no reset button.
Inside the glove box on the left. You'll see it right beside the trunk release button
Have you tried the trunk lock button inside of the glove box? Greg
Owner's manual or keep looking. Maybe it does not have one. Look at the trunk lock and see if it is manual or electric.
in the glove box

Check in the glove compartment.

No, the only release is in the glove box.
NO, only button it has is on remote and manual open on trunk door, when car is unlocked.
2001 Equipped Buick Lesabres have two different cruise control activation switches. The first turn the cruise control ON. The switch sets which speed the throttle will be locked at. This problem can be caused by the primary sources, the system is being operated manually or switch and or cruise control module failure.
