Community Outreach has several graphics for WikiGuides to use in their Community Outreach messages. When you become a WikiGuide, you are provided with a document entitled "How To Be A WikiGuide." The links to those graphics as well as instructions on how to insert them into messages is in that document. If you are a member of Community Outreach or are interested in becoming a WikiGuide, you may also email communityoutreach @ wikianswers.com (no spaces) for a new copy of "How To Be A WikiGuide."
Well, to contact other users you must write a message on their message board. Go to their bio page, and under their badges, there is an envelope symbol with 'message this user' link. Click on that to write a message on their message board.As for getting their names and being friends with them, that is up to the person you contacted.

If you mean postings on your message board - then no. There is no option to stop people adding comments to your message board.
No such option exists on WikiAnswers at this moment.
If you want to leave a message for another user, you have to go to that person's message board. You can't send mail from your own board, except for using the "reply" function, which will take you to the other person's board.

WikiAnswers email accounts are only given to WikiAnswers Supervisors. There is the message board feature on WikiAnswers that you can use to message other users. Simply click on 'Message This User' on the top right of a users bio page to add a message.
Go to that users profile. Scroll to bottom. Hit "add a message on [username]'s message board. Type your message, hit post and fill out the reCAPTCHA.

Many users and supervisors are busy. Patience or email may be your best choice to receive an answer. It may also be that the user does not have an answer and you should post the question in public instead of on a message board.
