How do you pick a car ignition? That very question to answer completely is beyond the scope of this article but I will try to enlighten you a bit
I am by trade an automotive locksmith I work on many types of automotive locks many of these locks are very simple in design most of the wafer variety with the exception of some using both wafers and sidebars just about every automotive lock can be picked bypassed or forced to the on position quickly if you know and understand what type of lock you are working with but here lies the part that is beyond the scope of the article there are many car manufacturers out there and each one has used many different types of locks througout the years each one reqireing a different approach and technique but suffice to say if you are determined ennough to learn how to pick at least a few of these locks you can use what you learn to fill in the gaps making it quite possible to pick many ignition locks
But however if you are thinking of picking ignitions over to assist you in stealing cars forget it almost 50% of cars on the road use chip or transponder keys and almost 98% of new cars sold today use them as a standard feature to circumvent this type of security you would need access to dealer or locksmith only tools that costs thousands of dollars and must be updated yearly costing thousands more (literaly one such basic tool come to mind and costs 10K initaly not to mention updates) and the expertise to know and identfy & understand just what system you would be working with and how it works belive me there are alot of them and no 2 are even remotely the same they usually chage yearly by the time you have invested the time and equipment into circumventing secuity system of even one manufacturer you could have bought that car several times over
some of the newest cars have all but eliminated the key except as an emrgency feature to open the door when the battery is dead these cars rely on computer code and enciption for security called SMART KEYS
IMO someday with biometrics we might never need keys again
The modern day car thieves use rollback tow trucks no need to understand security systems locks lockpicks and such just back up to it winch it aboard and away it goes but lojack and onstar got something for them
but to answer your question in a nut shell you pick a car ignition with lockpicks and a little skill
had you been a little more specific with your question (ie make model ect) I could have been more specific with the answer
