There is currently only one iPhone for sale at retail, so picking an iPhone from a retail location should be fairly easy. There is only one choice. If you don't plan on using the iPhone as a major source for storing lots of music and movies, you can save some money by picking up a used 4 GB model from places like eBay or Craigslist. The 4 GB model will provide all the same functionality as the current 8 GB model, but has half of the storage space.
