How do you play online in Minecraft?

if you have downloaded minecraft and don't know where, this answer is just for PC's. You can go to start, go tot he search (this may actually work for mac if there is a search) and just type in minecraft.

pirating is illegal, i wouldn't admit to it over the internet. All you have to do is open minecraft.exe

You can login onto your download minecraft without any password or username and it will say login fail. Then, click play offline and you can make a new world and play.

Unfortunately no.

You can only download the actual game, once you download the game then you can play it offline after that.

You can buy a Minecraft CD from Walmart, Target and others, BUT, it only has the installer on it. It will install itself onto your computer then connect to the Minecraft website so you can set up an account.

You need to make a user name and a password to log into the game and the website.

You need an permanent email so they can send you a confirmation email back to make sure your email is right and it will also give you another confirmation that game has been registered and you can then download the full game and login and play it.

That email will aways be assigned to your Minecraft game in case you ever need support, like a forgotten password, etc, so a temporary one won't work.

If you need a place to download from the internet most libraries, some restaurants, and other public places do have free wireless internet so you can register and download the game that way.
