Instructions to make the dams ready to possess the flood water
1) Need to have a better communication with it's ancestor's (Almatti Dam, Thungabadra dam) Engineers to know about water levels.
2) It is Mandatory to provide the quick information to it's descendants (Nagarjuna Sagar, Prakasam Barrage) to possess the extra flood water by setting out the existing water.
3) Prakasam Barrage & Nagarjuna Sagar should leave the existing water immediately (without wasting the time to get the flood water onto it) when it's engineers heard one of the below
a) flood attacked the Karnataka state/dams
b) very high Inflow to the srisailam dam
c) high Water levels @ srisailam dam
Basic idea here is - water will definitely take some time to traverse from one dam to another dam, so engineers should utilize that time period to make the dams ready to possess the flood water by leaving the existing water.
If descendant dam engineers leave the existing water before getting a hit by it's ancestors, those descendants will be ready to have a enough room for flood water. if there is no enough space, descendants can continue the outflow.
So obviously flood will not affect the human beings, their assets, crops, pets, daily lives in the critical situations also.
if flood attack is more than the earlier AP attack, at least it will reduce the flood attack.
Note 1 : Dams can't leave the three days water in a single day, if it does, that will lead to floods. For Ex: one person can't eat 3 days food at a time.
4) Don't follow the water level restrictions to leave the existing water when flood attacks it's ancestors, as it could be a life-threatening like recent AP Flood Attack (Oct 1st 2009).
5) There should not be any politics between the states in storing/leaving the water to it's descendants.
6) Ancestors should always think about safety precautions of it's descendants even in it's critical situations.
7) All Ancestors should suggest it's descendants on time.
8) All India dams should be commanded by a single proficient, decision making, Engineering Group, at least follow 9th.
9) All Andhra pradesh dams should be commanded by a single proficient, decision making, Engineering Group.
10) Need to form a group to quickly obey the instructions made by flood-saver group at dam projects.
11) Need to form a proficient,intelligent & decision making group for a flood-saver group.
Finally- costly, theoretical, long term plan would be :-
1) For every dam, there should be a dummy/assistive dam in front of it.
2) assistive dam should store no water always.
3) assistive dam would become a human-being saver while flood attacks as it can store more water while floods.
Note 2: In normal days dummy dams should not store anything, it should leave water immediately whatever it gets from it's ancestors, then only it would be helpful & assistive .

no, because if it floods, it can damage all of the crops, which will lead to no food. A way they can prevent it, is that they can build a dam right next to it
A dam is way to control floods by putting a large wall across a river
Build a dam
No Trains available. Srisailam do not have any rail connectivity.
IT does not stop the floods, but it controls the water flow.
to prevent floods we can use more irrigation
Yes you can.
Nagarjunsagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve was created in 1983.
Srisailam Project - RFC - Township's population is 23,257.
With the building of the Aswan Dam there is no flooding.
