1. Begin with the driver's door open.

2. Within 20 seconds insert the key in the ignition , 3 times, turn the ignition key to the run / on position, then back to off. slide the key out of the ignition until the door open chime stops sounding , Press the open door button 3 times located on the car frame.

3. You should hear a chime indicating the car is in programming mode.

4. You can now program exactly 3 fobs. To do this, press any one key on each fob twice, waiting for an acknowledgement chime between each fob.

If you have only one fob, do it 3 times. If you have 2 fobs, program the first one once, and the second one twice.

5. Press the door open button once. The car should chime.

How do you program a remote on a 1994 Mazda 626 ES that is equipped with a remote door opener?

Note: Before you start this procedure make sure you have all the remotes for the vehicle with you and program them all!Open driver's door and leave open.Insert the key into the switch and turn to ON and OFF position three times. Note: turn to the ON and not the ACC position!Take key out of the ignition.Press the driver's door ajar push-button three times. This button is located on the center pillar between the driver's door and the rear door. It is on the bottom part of the pillar and is pointing out.Press any button on the first remote. After several seconds, the dashboard buzzer will beep.Repeat step #5 for all the other remotes. When you are done, shut the door. The car will beep several times. You are done. Test all remotes to make sure they work!Based on my research, most Mazda's are the same. If this doesn't work for you, keep looking on the Internet, as your vehicle might need adifferent variation of this procedure.
