I have never heard of an Automatic Starter. Are you talking about a Remote Starter? Now if you are asking if an A/T equipped Mazda and a Manual Transmission equipped Mazda have the same starter, the answer is yes, they are identical.
Automatic or standard, is the same. The starter is between the engine and the firewall. If you face the car, the starter is basically at the center of the enging, gears face right, two 12mm bolts bolt through the trans-housing into the starter. Careful, there is a spacer plate (shim)between the starter and trans that must be reused.
Soup is a starter
No difference. Y is used as a symbol to indicate the star connection.
