you have to go to the dealer to have their proprietary remote reprogramed. $90 for the remote itself plus the shop labor That is ridiculous when you can go to your local car alarm installation/ remote place and get a new security/alarm system and remote start(program it any way you want), locking doors after start ect) for $150. It bypasses the passkeyII system in there now which is far less adequate than the new systems. I did that. We love it. it works from a football field away and you can start it in the morning from bed or at the coffee table. When you get there it is warm and defrosted. It cannot be driven until you put the key in it. takes an hour to install. Anyways, it's worth looking into. Doug email me with any questions malq@comcast.net
