first erase any previous code by pressing and holding 2 outside buttons, releasing only when indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds Then hold the hand-held opener within 2 to 5 inches from the Mitsubishi's transceiver, keeping the indicator light in view. Using both hands, simultaneously push the hand-held transceiver button and the desired Mitsu button. Do not realease until you see the indicator light flash, first slowly and then rapidly. When the light flashes rapidly, release both buttons. Test by pressing the newly programmed button.
