Go to fire station and ask to use slim-jim. When you feel contact, push down on slim-jim handle. Door should open. If not, ask fireman for help.
there are two or three capped nuts on the inside of the door the whole black strip from the window to the top of the door is replaced
I have a 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme and have been in your position several times! I have had to replace both door handles twice, and now the passenger side door is broken again. You *can* get into the car through the trunk--have someone who is small get into the trunk and push through the backseat (not sure if it's the same side in all the car, but mine pushes through on the driver's side of the backseat). I'd also recommend covering the handles during the winter months when you're not driving the car. When water and ice get behind the handles, it makes them break more quickly. In all...it's really just a terrible design on Oldsmobile's part....
crawl in from the trunk i do
Yes, calla locksmith that can get inside of the guts of the door from the outside and he can "jimmy" the door open, this will probably cost you about $60 to $80 dollars. ***Improvement on this answer! You can get in through the trunk. I have the same car and have had the same problem. Have someone small crawl into the trunk and push through the backseat--on my car (97 Olds Cutlass Supreme) you can push through the backseat on the driver's side and open the doors from the inside.
Found mine in the wire tray right between the driver seat and the driver door. Had to remove the cover for the hood release in order to lift up the carpet enough.
apparently one of the window tracks is bad in the door.
no tank must come out

Look inside the driver side door jam is should tell you tire sizes. If you cannot find it, refer to your owners manual.
