You have to get a special caliper reset tool. You can rent it from auto zone.

just replace the whole caliper.
When you remove the caliper, the pads can be pressed out by hand.
you need to take off both caliper bolts and remove the caliper from the carriage... most Mazda calipers will not pivot...
There is a 14 mm bolt on back of caliper. Remove this & use a 4 mm Allen wrench to back piston into caliper.

you have to turn the piston like a bolt
On the back of the caliper there should be a bolt its a 14mm you take it out and inside there is a bolt also its Allen key you use and Allen key and retract the caliper. it works on all 626 from 1994 till 2002
It will be a 14 or 17 mm wrench.
7 mm. You can buy this.
Remove caliper (possibly held by 14 or 17 mm bolts) then remove pads from caliper, press piston in and re-fit new pads.
you use a c clamp that's how i do it on all the the vehicle's that i work on if this help's you
