Your car uses 134 refrigerant. But a kit at most auto stores, etc. The kits have easy instructions to follow better than can be explained here.
Underneath the car. no need to jack the car up. its a blue valve
Underneath near radiator. There is a nipple with a black plastic cover. I recommend accessing this from under the vehicle if hot. The exhaust manifold could cause burns if accessed from above.

Refrigerant for a 1996 Buick Skylark is inserted into the low pressure AC hose. This hose is found on the left side of the engine bay.

You can put Freon into your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder from the low pressure port. Connect the Freon bottle to the port. Release the Freon into the air conditioning system.

i had my sterling pump replace but the one they put dose not look like it totally fits but it working but with a grinding sound
You have to take the transmission pan off, change the filter/fluid/gasget make sure you put all the bolts in first befor you titan the bolts up.
