How do you remove an air condition belt on a 1994 Honda Accord EX?
The small thumb size sensor is attached to a plastic air scoop tube behind the front bumper on the left side.
you first have to switch it out to r-134, which is expensive, and is one reason alot of people sell old jags
turn your heater on in the car to "catch up to the heat". It will eventually lower the temp in cars sounds crazy but it works.
On most of these model Jaguars especially the XJ-6 and XJS there is a drain hose for the air-condition . This hose is either blown from the bottom or top with a air compresser with attached blower adapter. Just blow the air thru the hose and this should unclog it and when you make a turn, WOW!! No more wet shoes and socks!!
As the Freon level in your air conditioning system gets lower the cold air will become warmer and warmer. You will need to recharge the system with Freon.
That's Vanden Plas. Buy a Haynes Repair manual for the car. That $14.00 Book will save you hundreds to thousands. I'm not giving you a fish; I'm teaching you how to fish. As a fellow Jag (V12) owner, this is the best way I can answer your question to help you now, and in the long term. If it has a "V" belt, loosen the alternator or air pump. If it has a "Serpentine" Belt, use a breaker bar with a deep well socket and retract the tensioner/idler pulley that keeps the belt tight.
You cant. Them come with a automatic belt tensioner and if the belt breaks, you must disassemble the whole pulley system.
go to parts store and tell them you need a belt for no air conditioning for your engine!!
