If you have a replacement ignition switch for the same bike. You take the retaining nut off the end of the key barrel and slide it out and you unplug it, then you plug in the new one and put the new key barrel back in and tighten the nut.
to remove stilo ignition barrel, look underneath the barrel. there is a square button holding the barrel in. put the key in the ignition, turn 2 notches, and press the button in with a screwdriver. Then wiggle the barrel out using the key.
it sounds like you have a faulty ignition barrel
Do you have the original ignition key?? Tape the old ignition key to the cowling around the ignition, then put new key in the ignition and see if it will run. The reason for this is there is a transponder chip in the old key that needs to be picked up by the rim module around the ignition barrel. If it works, take keys apart and swap transponder chip . Hope this helps
I can not turn the barrel to ACC so I can put a pin in the hole that releases the barrel, what do I do?

Put the key in, turn to position 2, press small Alan key or something simlar into little hole on top of the barrel, should feel a spring loaded switch. press down and barrel will pull out.
