I have a 99, and it says in the owner's manual that you need to take it to the dealer and have them reprogram it for you, it also says to bring one that works if you have one. remove glove box ahead of passanger's knees. a relay is behind the box to your right. a little button [ barely visible] , you push once about 2 seconds, the doors will lock then unlock, telling you that the previous code has been removed. push the invisible button again then push your new remote button. either lock or unlock, no difference. the doors will lock, then unlock again, showing that the newcode is in place. good luck started my answer yesterday, finish it today. be careful, i have been looking for a 93 remote or 7 months, since my 2 original remotes died. keyless ride .com keyless entry both have remotes that work. at least one week. guaranteed to work for 6 months. when you request a replacement after one WEEK, they will send it and bill you for the second one, which lasted for one month.several others promised, but didn't deliver. you have to look at the back of your old remote and make sure the numbers match. a 94 remote will NOT work in a 93 unless you replace the relay also. my remote numbers are fcc-abo0602t doc-218k835 part# 10202296. j.c.
