Do you mean "replace"? If you do, then do the following.\
1. Remove the lamp socket from the under side of the hood.
2. Loosen the 4 bolts going up into the hood through the hinges (2 on each side).
3. *Get a friend*!
4. Have your friend hold the hood up while you...
a) remove the gas cylinders from the hood (one each side).
b) remove the 4 bolts from the hinges.
5. Lift the hood off the car.
Install the hood in by reversing the removal procedure.
