If you get under your car and take a flat head screw driver ( a 1/4 drive would work as well) shine a flashlight up between the radiator and the engine block. To the left of center of the hood you'll see some springs. push on the left side of the lower smaller spring. If you do it right you'll hear the hood pop.
yes

It does not have a cable. The speed signal comes from the trasnmission output speed sensor.
your shifter linkage is probably broken.
It doesn't have a speedometer cable. The speed is calculated by the transmission computer using it's output speed sensor.
Its very easy. You can look by the brake pedal and there is a release lever with a hole in it. just pull the lever towards you and it will release.
dodge truck broken hood latch
Disconnect the negative battery cable for 10 minutes then re hook.
You put the red cable on the red stud by the air filter. You put the black cable on the ground stud on the strut tower.
Broken cable?
It depends on where its broke at. Is the cable broken at the mechanical part or is it broken before that?
With a key or from the inside.
Hood release cable has connector nuts on both ends of the cable. Loosen the connector nuts. Remove the cable retainers. The cable will come off and can be replaced with a new hood release cable.
i have a 1994 pnotiac sunbird that the handle broke off on the cable under the dash to open the hood. you can open the hood with a little patience and a fairly long screwdriver by releasing the latch under the hood. after this, on my sunbird, i just pulled the cable all the way out under the hood, tied it under the front of the car, and just pull it to release the switch. (thats only because i am too cheap and lazy to spend the money and time on a cable and install it.)
Yes. Just hook the red cable to the red post, black to black and turn the charger on.
Just remove the plastic cover that is under the steering wheel, it has 3 screws and some snaps. then you can see the mechanism that the cable was pulling to release. it is a lever just reach in with a stiff wire with a hook on the end and hook it and pull towards you and it will release the brake.
Hey Sheri==First remove the negative battery cable then remove the wires from the starter then the bolts and work it out. GoodluckJoe

Follow the positive battery cable from the battery. It will lead you directly to the starter. Driver side of the engine, below the exhaust manifold.
It depends which cable is broken. If the main cable is broken under the truck, the brakes should release on their own. If the brakes dont release, the cables are frozen from rust and need to be replaced. If the release cable from the handle to pedal assemdly is broken reach under the dash above the pedal and find the small release arm. Pull the arm toward you [ the rear of vehicle ] and the emergency brake pedal will release.
reach up between the grill and the radiator/ac cooler and pull on what's left of the cable.
1993-1997 you hook the cables to the battery. 1998-2004 you hook the cable to the jump start posts under the hood, passenger side.
grab the broken end of the cable with vice grips and pull it
use the gas tank to masturbate and ejaculate in the engine
