Take off the gas cap.

On the back of the block on the driver's side. There are fuel lines that go right over it.
with the ignition switch OFF, break the fuel lines loose slowly. there may be some fuel leak out, but that is normal.
It is important to have a diagram of all the line in a car while owning it. A person can get a diagram of the vacuum lines in a 1996 Chevy Suburban K1500 2WD by purchasing the maintenance or repair manual at an auto part shop.
It there on the passenger side of the radiator then there TRANSMISSION coolant lines and they hook to the transmission. If there on the other side then there OIL cooler lines for the engine.
it`s in the radiator (notice two large lines on passenger side radiator tank)
I use a 13mm swivel socket and a very long extension, 3/8" drive.
there is always a pressure release valve to remove air for fuel, location is usually on the right top of the motor where the fuel lines come in from the tank. the valve looks like the valve from your tire. just use a nail or something similar to press the valve and air will release then fuel will flow. and don't forget it has a cap.Answerpressure is usually released by just opening gas cap.
You need a quick release tool to remove fuel lines. You can pick one up at any parts store.
The fuel lines around the filter; you will need an adapter.
Follow lines from compressor-Larger line is low pressure--port may be at or around the accumulator/drier by passenger firewall
You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.
