Remove the gas cap and that will relieve pressure in the tank. There is a Schroeder valve on the fuel injector rail. Use that to relieve pressure at the injectors.
we need more info on this application like what year and what is a b250 i would suppose it was a dodge
Dodge does not use inertia/cutoff switches.
may be in fuel tank
No, Dodge does not use inertia/reset swithces.
open the gas filler cap One way is to remove gas cap
The fuel pump is located in the tank if it is a TBI (EFI) Engine. And Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches.
Dodge Durango is not equipped with a fuel pressure switch
Dodge has never put the pump on the outside of the tank on any fuel injected Ram Vans.
It is part of the fuel pump module in the fuel tank.It is part of the fuel pump module in the fuel tank.
adjust the timing or use better grade/octane of fuel or both
To relieve the fuel pressure on a Chevrolet S10, the fuel pump relay should first be removed. Then, the engine should be startedand run until it stalls.
First remove the gas cap. Now look on the fuel rail for a Schrader Valve. If you find one, use it to relieve the fuel pressure. If you find none, then you will just have to relieve the pressure when you disconnect the fuel filter. Just be prepared for the spray of fuel when you do so. Wrap the connection with a rag and be ready for the spray. Once that initial spay of fuel dissipates, which will be very quickly, remove the rag and continue.
The fuel pressure regulator is part of the pump in the fuel tank on a Dodge Stratus.
Older one out side the gas tank.New one inside gas tank
it is in between the brake booster and the battery. There's two relays there, which is my question.
under the stearing collum inside the vehicle
Under the hood, in the black box near the battery
easy way to relieve the fuel pressure is to remove the fuel pump fuse. after that start vehicle up. vehicle will run out of gas. the pressure is relieve,
First loosen the gas cap and relieve any pressure in the tank. Now look on the fuel rail for a schrader valve and push it to relieve the pressure. It will look like a tire valve. If you find none, then just be prepared for a spray of fuel when you disconnect the fuel line. Wrap it with a rag to prevent the spray.
From 87 to 95 did not have them. You will have to crack the fuel line alittle to relieve fuel pressure.
allows you to attach a fuel pressure gauge to check fuel pressure, you can also use it to relieve the fuel pressure during maintenance
Dodge doesn't use fuel pressure sensors on any of it's engines.
ask a mechanic to do it for you
