on my 1985 Lincoln town car i had to remove the dash and get back to the firewall and remove a panel on the firewall to get to it. good luck it is a pain.
Check in Fuse Box under steering wheel. Remove the plastic panel under the steering wheel, fuse box is on the left.
ceck on the fuel injector header, there is a small nipple valve with a plastic cap. remove it and attach a pressure gauge.

The rear door panel is held in place by eight retaining clips into screws. Remove the screws near the door handle. Pry outward on each retaining clip. The rear door panel will come off.
