remove the knob first - set screw on that one I think - then look for notches in the bazel Ford had a special tool but you can use a needle nose plier with a little tape on the ends to unsrew the bazel - carefull not to mar the chrome
on a 1963 Falcon..first remove the key insert by turning key allthe way to the left,. Then place a paper clip(straightend) into the hole in insert.Press in to release the spring while turning key farther to the left and remove insert..now the ignition swithch can be removed by pressing in from rear of dash and turn switch counter clockwise while holding switch retainer in from front..
