To replace the caliper on a 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Then, unbolt the caliper from its bracket, disconnect the brake line, and remove the old caliper. Install the new caliper by attaching it to the bracket, reconnecting the brake line, and ensuring all connections are tight. Finally, bleed the brake system to remove any air, reattach the wheel, and lower the vehicle.
Loosen something on the brake if you tighten it will get worse screw caliper piston in or out with caliper tool. they are like that for the park brake function
After you remove the wheel, there will be two large bolts holding the caliper in place, I believe 17mm. Loosen these two, lift & hang caliper, the roto will slide right off. Assemble with antiseize compound if you have any.

Hubless design: Raise car, remove wheel, remove caliper, remove brake pad holder, remove rotor. Hub/rotor assembly: Raise car, remove wheel, remove caliper, remove brake pad holder, remove axle nut and cotter pin, remove outer wheel bearing, remove hub/rotor assembly, separate rotor from hub assembly. Re-pack wheel bearings with grease upon reassembly.
