Depending on what's actually stuck, you may have to pull the rear freeze plug and drive the cam out. Must have the lifters completely out of the way and the timing chain removed. If the cam is stuck to a cam bearing, driving out the cam will ruin the cam bearings, and you may have to cut them off from underneath.
look in your owners manual thats what it's for
I would like to know how to improve the towing capacity of my 2004 Chevy Silverado Z71. It has a 5.3 liter engine
4.001" Bore with and 3.48" Stroke would make it a 350. Thats if it was kept to the factory condition. 4 Bolt Mains
Its in the air duct after the air filter and before the injector. Its about a 3" rectangle with a screen in the middle. I replaced mine when I failed inspection but not sure this fixed the problem. Astroman INCORRECT thats the air flow sensor, map sensor, rear of engine, remove large engine cover (in cab) under radio, situated rear of engine opposite side to steering wheel
Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine and sensor 1 will be the closest O2 sensor thats in the exhaust pipe where it bolts to the engine exhaust manifold.
I recently porchased an 04 cavalier with the 2.2 ecotec engine. It gives me around 360 miles on a full tank but thats really pushing it
do they have internet? thats the question
There are 8 plugs total. 2 on the front of the block,1 on each side of the timing cover. There is 2 on each side of the block, look at where the motor mount bolts to the side of the engine, and 1 will be there and the other1 will be towards the back on the side and there is 2 on the back of the engine that you can not see unless you remove the transmission. THERE YOU ARE THATS 8
there really arent that many holding it on. about 4 on each side on the rear of the fenders. and the 2 radiator support bolts. thats about all.
To many variables/year/model /auto or standard/describe light thats on/were their any problems leading up to this, or maybe the exhaust brake is stuck on, or maybe you have ignored your regeneration light on a newer model.
thats what i want to know coz now im stuck with it!
Remove the glovebox, to the right you will see a silver box with 2 connectors going into it. Thats your PCM. The VSS Buffer is mounted to the bottom of the tray the PCM sits on.
