This is a scary one. Access is OK, but a pickle fork (the wide gap one) will be your answer. Still, if it just won't budge, and some of them won't, you will NOT want to force it out. I have seen a transmission break doing this - really! And you find out AFTER you reinsert your new axle!
So, if it won't come out, you must cut the boot off and simply use the old cup with the new bearings and boot that come with your new axle. Voila! Job is a little dirtier, but now the job can be completed.

To open a stuck door on a 2000 Kia Sephia, remove the door panel and check the latch mechanism. It is likely to be bent. Better to replace the latch mechanism.

I would think it would be a stuck solenoid, it allows the fluid to run to your drum that hold the clutchs and compresses them together to make the gears move with the shaft

It sounds like the transmission shifter linkage is disconnected.

stick a straightened paper clip in the small hole on the faceplate..the tray should eject.
Buy a new hub
The automatic Toyota may be stuck in park because of transmission problems. The transmission may be jammed or stuck in that gear.
