Remove the driveshaft, remove the transmission (you'll have to disconnect the temp sensor, speed sensor, backup light switch, etc.), then you remove the pressure plate and clutch plate (don't try doing this by yourself), then you unbolt the flywheel and remove it.
automatic? remove transmission and torque converter then remove flexplate (auto has a flexplate not a flywheel if mauel transmission remove gear box and clutch then remove flywheel
apparently there are 4 bolts at the flywheel end inside the clutch housing. You must remove the gearbox from the engine to access them! good luck all
disconnect the trans slide back - disconnect torque converter clear flywheel get two 5/8 socket wrenchs and use one to loosen and one to tighten do that till all of them is loose and then tap at the bottom and turn as you tap to remove the flywheel
With most flywheels once, you have removed the obvious parts, pulleys, bolts etc, you will need to "Draw" the flywheel off the dowels. Often there are two "Threaded Blind Holes". Using suitable size bolts you can screw these in and draw off the flywheel, if there aren't any holes, use a suitable lever (Large screwdriver) and carefully prise the flywheel off.
The flywheel has to be held in place by a holding tool, Remove the mounting bolt, then use a balancer remover to pull the harmonic balancer.
Separate the engine/transmission; either pull the engine or transmission, whichever is easier for you. If it's an automatic, disconnect the torque converter from the flywheel. You can get to the bolts through the dust cover. After the engine/transmission are separated, if it's a standard, remove the pressure plate/clutch disk.pull the bolts that hold the flywheel and it should fall off in your hand.
Pull the motor out of the car and change it.
You will have to take out either the engine or tranny to get to it.

located directly in front of oil pan(right above frame support beam), remove flywheel cover, remove two bolts holding starter to engine block and power wires and the starter will fall out of place, put new starter in place, connect wires as they were, and re-place the two bolts securely, and re-place flywheel cover.
Remove either the engine or transmission, remove the pressure plate from the existing flywheel and examine both the pressure plate and clutch plate, unbolt the flywheel from the crankshaft and remove it. If there are many miles on the clutch, don't even TRY to reuse it. Examine/replace the glan nut/pilot bushing as necessary and lubricate according to specifications. Bolt the NEW flywheel onto the crankshaft. Using a pilot shaft, install the clutch plate/pressure plate assembly. Make sure the shaft can be removed easily and that the clutch plate is centered exactly on the pilot shaft. Install the engine or transmission. If you haven't done one before, good luck.
