give up and get a new car is a stupid solution. what you should do is try to locate visible screws to remove on the door (you will have to use a Philip's head for them). if there are non, pop off the little speaker and window control (flat head srewdriver) and there are screws in there as well. i am currently replacing the speakers on mine and i am working on the backseat today, so I'll post what i find out as i go on with it.
Remove the inner door panel.See link below.
Remove the Right wheel and inner plastic fender which will allow you access to the tensioner side of the motor. There will be a few bolts holding into place on the block. Remove the bolts and remove the entire tensioner assembly. Reverse for replacement.
You will need to remove the screws in the door pull area, remove the power window panel, and the door lock pull, from there you carefully pop the plastic retainers holding the inner door panel to the door, work your way around carefully prying them away. The speaker will be bolted to the steel door behind the grille that is a part of the door panel, unbolt it and replace with the same size new speaker.
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune is not inner planets. They are all outer planets.
Should be able to access after removing inner door panel
YOU MUST REMOVE, UNFORTUNATELY, THE INNER DOOR PANEL TO GET TO THE CLIPS OF THE COVER....BB
Remove inner door panel for acess
Remove inner door panel and replace complete door check assembly
remove the inner pannel. That will put you at the assembly. with windo up, remove assemblt. then replace
JACK THE CAR UP, REMOVE THE NEGATIVE WIRE CABLE FROM THE BATTERY, REMOVE THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE AND THE FRONT INNER FENDER (PLASTIC). ONCE THESE ARE REMOVED THERE ARE ONLY 2 BOLTS AND ITS OUT. BUT, IT CAN BE FINANGLED THROUGH THE ENGINE BAY WITHOUT REMOVAL OF EITHER BUT ITS A TIGHT FIT.
Remove driver side front tire. Remove inner fender liner. Remove battery. Reverse steps.
For the front doors, remove the inner door skins (grab the bottom and pull gently.) You can probably get away with just pulling the bottom loose enough to reach the screws around the speaker box. There are 3 or 4 screws holding the speaker box in. Remove the screws and unhook the old speaker. Pull the box out from under the door skin. There are 4 nuts holding the speaker to the inside of the box. Remove those (it's tight so you may want to use a needle nose pliers.) and the speaker is free. The rear speakers are a little easier. The box is contained in the armrest. This is held on by a couple of screws on the bottom. Remove these screws and lift the arm rest free. The speaker is contained in a box similar to the front.
