same as rambler in line 6, drill a 1/4" holl into the plug & use a 5/16' taperd srew remover to lock &unscrew the plug.
Matt
could you tell me what is the spark plug gap for toyota 4 runner 1998
.044
It is probably your spark plugs misfiring.
1.1 mm or .043 in
It always has the same number of spark plugs as it has cylinders. If it a 6 cylinder it has 6 plugs. If it's an 8 cylinder it has 8 plugs. If it's a 4 cylinder it has 4 plugs. Toyota doesn't make a 4 cylinder 4Runner.
I heard you have to take half the motor apart to get to them.
The correct gap is 0.031 inch..(0.787 mm.)
Spark plug. Plug wire, or coil
You can change the spark plugs on the 1997 Toyota Tacoma yourself. Remove the ground wire and spark plug wire. Remove plug. Replace the plug with a plug made specially for your model car.
depends if you have the v6 or 4cyl. I bet u have a v6 and the gap is .032. I own a v6. If you dont then your S.O.L.
I have the same vechicle, the gap is 0.031 inches, on both the 4cyl & 6cyl. That's out of the Haynes manual.
