If you don't have a jack or wheel wrench there is no way to remove the tire.
Unless you can turn the holder with a pliers, wrench or socket.
you can't
Take out the spare tire, jack, and lug wrench, remove the panel in the trunk and start there. There are two straps holding the tank in.
To remove the spare tire: 1. Open both of the rear doors. Remove the access cover from the rubber strip found behind the left door. Insert tapered end of lug wrench or tip of jack handle through the access hole. Turn counterclockwise until the cable extends enough to allow the spare tire to be pulled rearward from under the vehicle. 2. Slide the spare tire to the rear and remove the retainer from the wheel. 3. To stow the cable/retainer with spare removed, turn jack handle wrench clockwise until slack is removed. dont be afraid to crank on it real hard sometimes they stick.
To remove the spare tire on a Mercury Mariner insert the jack handle into the hole provided on the rear bumper of the vehicle. Turn the jack handle clockwise to lower the spare from underneath the vehicle.
Where is the spare tire located on a 1987 Corvette? Under the back of the car below the CORVETTE, use the lug wrench to lower it the jack is on top of the tire.
Should be inside the spare tire on shelf in trunk
Hey Dummy, Didn't you know that after 2006, BMW did not include a spare tire, jack, and lug wrench since the cars had run-flat tires as original equipment. You just need to get a spare tire and jack since you can use your head as the wrench (lug nut head).
take it off the rear of the vehicle with a socket wrench if you have stock suspention the jack under the passenger seat will work but if you have a lift you may need a hi lift jack take it off the rear of the vehicle with a socket wrench if you have stock suspention the jack under the passenger seat will work but if you have a lift you may need a hi lift jack
The jack should be under the spare wheel along with the combination lug wrench/jack handle, under the floor of the trunk.
They should be under the floor in the trunk, with the spare tire.
You may be able to use the tire iron in place of the rod. This is actually how some jacks are designed.
Open the rear hatch and remove the floor mat from the rear floor. Under the mat is more carpet, but if you look closely in the middle of where the mat used to be, you'll see there are cuts in the carpet that enable you to lift up a small flap. Under this flap is a hex nut. Open the plastic panel to your left, and you'll find the jack, the jack crank, and the lug wrench. Use the lug wrench to turn that nut counterclockwise, and that will lower the spare on a cable. Once the spare hits the ground, continue to turn the wrench to get enough slack so that you can remove the cable from the spare. There was a recall on this cable system, so if you haven't had yours replaced, go to the dealer for a free replacement.
