Should only be 2 bolts-1 at 6 & 1 at 12 o' clock. Remove those & wires from back (disconnect batt first) & just R&R. Belt has to come off first. Alt will swing sideways once you loosen top bolt or if serpentine, just pry on idler to get slack with pry bar. If serpentine, make sure you have routing diagram (or note) before removal.

Loosen the tensioner pulley. Remove the power steering belt. Remove the power steering hose. Remove the power steering retaining bolts. The power steering pump will come off.
I believe, you have to remove the caliper and bracket. Then remove the axle nut. All the bearings will come off. A very messy project. They are not just knock off rotors like most cars.
The timing belt on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper is replaced by removing the engine accessories, taking off the timing cover and loosening the tensioner. The belt can then be slipped off the sprockets and a new timing belt put in place.
Remove the belt from your 1985 Nissan 300 alternator. Remove the wiring harness from the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. The alternator will come off.
