IT turns the heater on and off!
I've only heard of it in Europe, Japan and Australia
you have two seats in the front, and a bench seat in the back
light out on the seat heater switch on passenger side. High low indicator is ok. How do you replace bulb?
To repair a seat heater on a 2004 Buick LeSabre, disconnect the connector and check for voltage. If there is no voltage, replace the switch. If there is voltage, check for an open circuit.
As you sit in driver's seat, look just forward of your left knee. There is a little square panel that just pops off.
The light in the switch can not be changed, the whole switch would need to be replaced.
If the heater still works the bulb is just burn out. I doubt you can change the light you will have to replace the switch.
Could be just the switch (the button you push). To check, pop the center portion of the coin holder between the driver and passenger side seat heater switches. On both opposing short sides of the switch there is a clip that need to be pried open to allow the switch off of the harness. Just swap the good switch over and if it works, order a new switch.
there are no factory seat heaters on the R1200C. On the dresser R1200CL and CLC, there is, and that is controlled by a rocker switch on the handlebar. The passenger seat heater should have a rocker either on the side of the seat or under the right edge of the seat. off, low, and high. If it is a R1200C, Corbin made a heated seat for this and there is a simple on off switch.
My seat heater stopped working. Is there a fuse for this? I can not find anything in my owners manual about the seat heater.
You have to pull the switch out and the bulb is located behind that. Use something plastic to keep from scratching anything. Or a small screw driver.
A heated seat switch is what controls the heat settings of the seat. Each seat has its own switch that controls the heating elements and can be mounted on the door panel or the seat.
