Remove the visible screws on the panel. Remove the screw and interior door handle cup. Tap the panel upward. DO NOT PRY OUT FROM DOOR! you will break the tabs that slide into the steel part of the door. Onece it is lifted staight up off the door remove the wiring connections for mirror and windows.
next to the ecu, drivers side remove interior sill plastic trim and kick panel
just use a minus scre driver and slide thru the interior cover, it will snap off the body.

There are usually three areas for fuel shut off switches: 1- in the trunk behind the panel back by the taillight area 2- in the trunk on the opposite side 3- in the passenger side of the car in the front under the dash behind the kick panel. you need to remove this panel and look up under. In my 99 mustang it is in the trunk driver side(1)
It is not too hard. You will have to remove the door panel, then you will see how the interior handle is riveted to the metal door frame work. You will need to drill these rivets out and install the new handle with either rivets or screws.
