The 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue throttle position sensor is held in place with two retaining screws. Remove the retaining screws and the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new throttle position sensor.
Unplug the wire on the side,remove the screw on it,,pull it off and replace with new one.
It is located on throttle body, opposite side of where throttle cable is located- Unplug it, remove any screws or bolts holding it on then install new part in reverse order.
On the side of the throttle body opposite where the throttle cable connects. In other words the side of the throttle body facing the fire wall. You will probably have to remove the throttle body itself to replace the sensor as the screws that hold it to the throttle body are vary difficult to loosen.

it is located in the throttle body. On the bottem. You need to remove the air filter hoses, remove the 4 bolts to the throttle body and then 2 screws to remove the tps.
Unplug the electrical harness from the Throttle body, it's the side opposite of the circular spring and throttle cable assembly. The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is the grey and black plastic item the harness is connected to. It is held in with two small, Phillips head screws. Just remove the screws and it will pull right off.

sorry , you cant , the 1.8 liter unit is not servicable , you have to replace the entire throttle body , starting at about 150$ at partsgeeks or other online retailers , avoid rebuilt units.
It is located on the bottom of the throttle body. You can find the throttle body by following the two big air pipes from the air filter box, they end at the throttle body. To access the throttle position censor you must remove the throttle body.
Remove the air intake, throttle cables, and throttle body. Remove vacuum lines then unbolt and remove the upper intake. Remove the fuel rails. Unbolt the lower intake and remove the intake to replace the gasket. Reverse the process to finish the installation.
You will need to remove the throttle body and replace the throttle body gasket. The throttle body gasket can be purchased at most auto-parts stores.
