Generally the blower motor resistor is found close to the blower motor. It relies on the blower motor to keep it cool.
The Resistor is located on the outside of the blower motor. Have to remove the blower from under the glovebox to get to it. The Resistor is located on the outside of the blower motor. Have to remove the blower from under the glovebox to get to it.
Fig 15 Blower Motor ResistorNOTE: The blower motor resistor is located on the lower right side of the heater housing.REMOVAL# Remove lower right underpanel silencer/duct. # Disconnect wiring connectors on blower motor resistor. # Remove blower motor resistor retaining screws. # Pull blower motor resistor out of heater housing.
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
# Locate the blower resistor under the right-side of the instrument panel # Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor # Remove the blower motor resistor mounting screws and remove the resistor from the housing # Installation is the reverse of removal
The blower motor resistor is located under the glove box right behind the blower motor. There is a kick shield under the dash that needs to be removed. The resistor has three harnesses connectors. Unplugged the connectors. Remove the two screws holding it in place. If the resistor is highly corroded or broken, replace.
Blower motor: remove the glove box and you will see the blower motor and blower resistor.
Inside the blower motor housing directly behind the electrical coupler.
Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch . Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor. Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing. Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing............
The Blower Motor has a resistor attached to the blower motor itself. I'm not familar with a relay for the motor. I think you have to remove the Blower Motor itself to get access to the resistor. The blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side. It's like 3 maybe 4 bolts to remove.
The resistor is located to the lower right of the blower motor. You will need to remove the battery to access it
To change the blower motor resistor in a 2002 Nissan Maxima, locate the blower motor resistor under the glove compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle. There is a clip that is depressed and then the resistor will slide out. Remove both ends of the resistor and then replace with the new resistor.
