How do you replace the blower motor resistor in a 2006 Pontiac G6?

Only your forth speed will work when your blower resistor is gone, this is how you can tell. Under the glove compartment you will find a plastic cover that's about a foot by 1/2 foot, just pull that off. Then you will be able to see the blower and a plug that has 4 wires comming out of it. Unplug it and take the 2 small hex blots out, then the resistor will slide out easily. Screw the new one in, plug back in, replace the cover and your good to go. Nick Parker.
