In order to remove the stock radio from a 2005 Ford Freestar, u must first get either a flathead screwdriver with a very thin tip or something sturdy enough to be able to handle a little pressure while prying the wood grain paneling off around the a.c controls and radio. " PLEASE NOTE" whatever is used to get the paneling from around the radio needs to be thin enough to fit in the cracks between the actual dash and paneling around the radio. once the panel is off the rest pretty much answers itself, just remove the screws and pull it out gently to avoid tugging on the wires hooked into the back
