I unhooked all the coils(6) so the engine would not crank.
I used a Craftsman 1/2 in ratchet and a 3/4 in impact socket and put the ratchet frame against the passenger side axial and bumped the engine over and this released the bolt.
I then used a Craftsman 2 arm puller without a wrench to pull the pulley off (I put the bolt back in and that's what I pried against with the puller) and with just hand pressure removed the pulley.

Remove crankshaft pulley& ballance
Hello, I am copying the answer from my Nissan Pathfinder repair Manual. This is for 2.5L and 3.3 L engines, NOT THE 3.5 L ENGINE!!! 1- Disconnect Negative cable from the battery. Rause the front of of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. 2. Remove the engine under cover. Remove the lower radiatorshroud and remove the engine colling fan. 3. Remove the drivebelts. 4. Use a strap wrench around the crankshaft pulley to hold it while using a breaker bar and socket to remove the cranshaft pulley center bolt. 5. Wedge a prybar or two screwdrivers behind the crankshaft and carefully pry it off the crankshaft. If the pulley is difficult to remove, use a jaw-type puller and pull it off. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the pulley bolt to the torque listed in the manual, then adjust drivebelts. Hope this helps-S
