How do you remove door panels off of 2002 ford f-150 xlt?

Right in front of the inside pull handle,this is the handle you use to close the door once you are inside, there is a padded piece if you have power windows, it shuold have your window switch in it. It has a gap around it. With a screwdriver or small pry tool, pry this piece up to remove it from the panel you will have to disconnect the window switch. Ther is a screw behind here . Next go around the edge of the panel with a pry tool; they make a special clip popping tool for this,but a screwdriver or needle nose pliers will work. Pry the edge up and with a flashlight look to see if there areclips holdind the edge down. If there is pop them loose all the way around the panel. If you don't see any clips, then push the panel straight up from the bottom.You mayhave to smack the top of the panel towards the window as it clips over the edge of the inner structure. Ford changed there way of installing these panels from the clip on to the slide on but not sure what year this was. One of these methods will work . Dave
