Im assuming that the hair glue has completely dried unfortunately u cant remove hair glue with any type of chemically that wont damage your couch...but you can try and use a tweezer and softly pick at the glue and see if it comes up that way... hair glue is one thing that is extremely hard to remove from any surface...hope this help! Sorry no. Nail polish is actually a very strong glue. The chemicals to break down the glue destroy all fabrics.
Goof Off is excellent for this use. After removing it wash the clothing in warm water to get rid of the odour.

That depends on the base of the glue that is on the puppy. If it is water based glue a long soak in a bath will do the trick to loosen the glue and then can be rubbed off. If it is like a super glue, soaking in a bath may help but may not remove all the glue.
