not sure on a 91' but i just removed mine last night on a 96' Grand marquis. On mine the bottem of the shroud was separate from the top and the sides. It slides in a grove and all i had to do was slide it all the was around its grove and it came free. This frees the shroud from catching on the fan. Then I just had to losen the two screws at the top of the shroud and everything came free.
