To remove the front grill on a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe the bumper will need to be removed first. After the bumper is removed, take off the four screws and clips holding the grill in place. The grill is then ready to remove.
Usually to remove the front bumper grill you would just locate the screws or bolts holding the part in place and then remove them. The grill should be able to be removed after that.
First remove the bumper cover. You need to take off the front grill to get at the plastic retainers that hold the top of the buimber on. There are about four retainers on the bootom of the bumper.
start underneath the van. screws go up from inside the front bumper to the grill
You have to remove the grill, front bumper, and plastic protector under the car. It is a terribly poor design and a nightmare when you have to remove the bumper to replace ANY of the front lights.
Front, grill, hood, bumper, etc
remove all screws then use a butter knife to push taps down under grill.
Take the front grill out, The grille and headlights came off to get at screws at the front end, remove the three plastic plugs under the grill, and remove the splash guard under the bumper, jack up front of car and remove front wheels. Take the majority of inner wheel arch retaining bolts out and fold the front back out of the way (don't take it out completely) Remove the engine under-tray. Remove the two 10mm bolts fixing the bumper to the wing on each side (bit awkward to get to but not too bad). Remove the bumper, note you need to push the sides down first as there is a pin that locates them. Fit the new bumper.... bolts, plugs etc, line up and tighten. Refit everything else. Remove headlights and grill. grill has a torx bolt each side, and undo retaining clips on the headlights where it clips onto them each headlight has a torx bolt behind at the back under where the wires go in, and 1 torx bolt on the top, and one behind the grill. under where the grill was there is 2 or 3 black round push clips. Remove the engine under-tray
Remove the 4 bolts that hold the radiator grill, pull the top forward slightly and bang the bottom back toward the car with your hand and it will unclip from the bumper.
Behind the front bumper and grill and in front of the radiator.
Normally on the front bumper or in the front grill somewhere.
Behind the front grill above the front bumper.
