Are you asking about the trim panel above the glove box or the trim panel in front of the radio or the trim panel around the instrument cluster? Ask again telling us which panel you wish to remove.
You have to remove the entire door panel. Some models are screwed on and some models just snap on. For the very best advise, take it to you closes Mercedes-Benz dealer. Good luck!
Using a screw driver remove the screws from the door panel, remove the clips, and pull the panel away from the frame slowly. Remove any wiring connectors, and remove the panel the rest of the way.
Using a screwdriver, remove all the screws from the panel, remove all the clips from the panel, and gently pull the panel from the frame. Remove and wire connectors between the panel and the frame, then pull the panel off the rest of the way.
Once you unscrew the covers, pull straight out. they are held by a clip that expands to the housing.
The front panel just pop's off "BUT" You have to remove the cig lighter first! remove lower panel under steering wheel to gain access to the back side of the cig lighter, Then hold back side while putting your thumb in front side then use thumb to unscrew. then panel will come off very easily.
