remove the obvious-lugs, wheel, caliper (hang it out of the way). Remove the axle nut with an impact driver + washer. Loosen the 4 bolts on the rear of the knuckle -15mm. This will require turning the steering wheel to the left and right to gain better access/clearance. Hand screw the bolts back in so there is about 1/2" of bolt/head still showing. Take an airhammer with a short bit (about 3" long). This bit should be flat on the tip which may require fabrication- cutoff wheel and grinder. Place it on the bolt heads behind the knuckle and driver them. The bearing flange will push away from the knuckle. Airhammer all 4 bolts evenly. This will require turning the steering wheel to gain clearance for the airhammer. Loosen the 4 bolts further. Repeat airhammer again. Bearing flange should be separating from knuckle. Push inward on the spline by hand. Once removed you can disconnect the abs sensor with an Allen wrench. Take the hub assembly/rotor to a workbench and support it by the rotor. Pound the studs out (with lugs threaded on to protect threads). Now the rotor will become separate from the spindle bearing. Take care not to damage the bearing assembly- they are not cheap! place new rotor on bearing, studs, lugs and take it somewhere to turn it. There is no pounding on the back of the rotor/shield for this removal. A simple airhammer and about 15 min per side for removal.
