Assuming it's the same as a 94 C1500, Open the glove-box, remove the screws across the top and bottom, remove the cables that support the glove-box door, remove the glove box door, remove the glove box compartment. I have a 95 K1500, you just have to squeeze the top of the glove box, clear the mount and then remove the plastic strap on the left side, and then open the glove box fully it just fall down, no need to unscrew anything.
you have to remove the door panel to access the inner door and remove the entire door handle assembly ( from the inside). Once you've got the handle out, remove the lock cylinder, to access the broken key.
Remove Philips screw that holds glove box on to little shock absorber thing near passenger side door while glove box is opened. Not firmly pull up on the glove box door and it should pop out it is just clipped in

Behind the glove compartment door. Open and empty the glove compartment door then remove the two door stop/bumpers to allow the door to drop down. This will expose the cabin filter access door. Remove the cabin filter access door and the cabin filter will slide out easily.
open the door, remove door trim and the torque screw holding the strap to body, and two nuts holding strap to door and remove door stop from inside door
Normally, a locking cylinder is held in by a clip on the back side. You pass the cylinder through the hole in the glovebox and then inside the glovebox you slide a clip over the cylinder to hold it tight to the inside of the glove compartment door. Maybe you just need to the clip. It may have broke. You shouldn't need a whole glovebox door and all unless the part on the glovebox door is broken where the clip attaches to it. Then you may need just the door.
