Atop the headlight assembly there are two thumb screws. Middle-top and Right-top (driver side), Middle-top and Left-top (passenger side). You may need a pair of pliers, if you have the proper torx-bit use it instead, to get the thumb screws loose. If using pliers be very careful not to chew up the plastic part of the screw. The middle-top screw is the long one and the other is short.
Remove the two screws and gently lift up, then slide out towards front of vehicle. The lens cover is part of the assembly so it all should come out together.
Now you can replace headlights, curb light, and the turn signal is inside directly below where you just removed the headlight assembly from.
Somebody should slap the engineers who come up with these configurations!
