Lug studs on a 1994 Acura Integra is pressed into the hub. To remove the lug studs safely raise and prop the car. Remove the wheel, brake components, and suspension parts from the hub. Press out the old studs.
You have to get the hub pressed out and for that you have to remove the hub assembly and take it to a machine shop that will press the hub out and replace the studs for you. shouldn't run you more then $50.00. That's if you remove it yourself and take it to the machine shop.
Bearings require a mechanical press to be properly changed in an Acura Integra. Remove the hub from the vehicle and take it to a press. The machine will properly install a new bearing and ensure a safe install.
Remove Wheels Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Slide rotor off hub
break the hub nut loose. raise car and remove wheel. disconnect the damper fork from the shock absorber assembly and the lower control arm. separate the lower control arm from the steering knuckle. remove the hub nut and swing the knuckle/hub assembly out until the end of the driveaxel is free of the hub (you may need to use a puller to push the axel thru the hub). carefully pry the driveaxel from the half shalt using a large screwdriver or prybar positioned betweenbearing support and the cv joint housing. remove the bearing support bracket bolts (3) where it bolts to the engine. slide the half shaft from the transaxel.
remove the bolts around the outside of the hub. pull it off. then remove the next set of bolts to remove the inner hub. there may be a snap ring to remove the inner hub as well.
use a slide hammer to remove the hub from the bearing. do this on the car. or remove complete knuckle and press hub out with a press
it has to pressed out by removing the spindle and putting it on a hydralic press
Remove the rear wheel, then the wheel hub should be on four bolts. Remove the bolts and remove the hub. Very easy job.
I dont think you remove the nut in the center of the hub, your rotor is more than likely just rusted on to the hub.
You should be able to hammer it out with a small sledge hammer, you may have to remove the hub to get it completely out. To install the new one, make sure that the splines are lined up and put a lug nut on it. Tighten the lugnut all the way down to pull the stud(bolt) into the hub.
Remove wheel. Remove grease cup. Remove caliper & secure it so it does not interfere with spindle. Remove brake disc. Remove hub nut. Remove hub & bearing assembly. Use a two jaw pulley to remove hub if you can't do it by hand. Reverse procedure to install.
