Buy a bulb from the Honda dealer or auto parts store (so you get the right one). You will need to remove the instrument cluster trim panel, and then remove the instrument cluster itself. Change out the bulb. Detailed instructions can be found at Alldata and on the internet.
Behind the instrument Cluster. Or remove it and replace the Cluster.
You will need to remove the instrument cluster board. To do that, remove the trim piece around the instrument cluster, then carefully pull the instrument cluster out of the dashboard. Note that the instrument cluster plugs in to a socket in the dashboard, so be careful as you remove the circuit board so that you do not damage the plug. Once the instrument cluster is out, replace all bulbs. They twist to remove, and if the odometer bulb has failed, the others are getting old too. It might be best to replace them all to avoid future problems.
remove instrument cluster and clean plug at rear of cluster and other plug in dash, common problem - dirty plug causes no cluster activity and or goofy stuff
Sure, but at some effort. You need to remove the instrument cluster from the dash to replace it.
Nevermind. I found the solution through another question.

To get to the clock you must remove the black plastic piece that is around it that surrounds the computer buttons and surrounds the instrument cluster. There are some screws around the instrument cluster, the rest snaps together.
You have to remove the vent & bezel assembly from below the radio first, then the entire dash bezel from around the instrument cluster & radio.
I am not familiar with a multiplex, but if you are referring to the instrument cluster then yes the computer will store your mileage. If it is the speed sensor that is the problem then no.
