You need to remove the front and rear seats. Remove the console, various interior panels and the door sill plates. Pull out the carpet.
The 1990 Nissan interior panels are held in place with eight retaining clips. Pry outward on each retaining clip to remove the interior door panels.

First you need to remove the passenger seat. Then look for the cut out in the carpet that will let you have access to bolts to remove the access panel to the plugs. It sounds worse than it really, is the carpet that you have to pull back has sections of velcro to keep it together so look for that before removing any interior panels. If your doing a tune-up this will be easy as compared to the cap and rotor replacement.
They are located below the armrests in the quarter trim panels behind the carpet. A really lousy place for sound quality really. To remove them you will have to take out the back seat and remove the panels that the armrests are attached to.

it is under the rear seat, you have to remove them, then remove the carpet and you will see to access panels, i believe the fuel pump is the panel on the driver side.
