Get your goggles and leather gloves on. Duct Tape across the surfaces of the mirrored tile. Gently pry the mirrors away from the drywall with a flatbar. The paper face of the drywall may come off with the mirror mastic. You can seal that up later and repaint. Place all tile and fragments in a thick cardboard box and mark the box in big bold letters, "BROKEN GLASS INSIDE". Place on curb for garbage pickup or recycling.
A ceramic tile is not a rock. Stone tile can be made by slicing any of the three rock types, however.
cost to remove tile floor
can tile be placed over river rock
yes.
It is best to remove the wall tiles. You need a flat service and a lot of times old tile will not be perfectly flat. If you remove the tiles you will have a good base to tile on. If you don't want to remove the tiles you may be able to add a backer board on top of the old tile and then tile on that.
Remove the adhesive.
To remove cat vomit from Travertine tile, clean the tile as normal. A simple solution to clean the tile and to sterilize is using apple cider vinegar. There is not much of a risk cleaning the tile unless an abrasive cleaner is used.
You can find the streak color of a rock by sliding a rock across a tile
Good luck. You would have to scrape each tile and remove the grout. Depending on the type of tile, sometimes if you scrape with a metalic scraper you can/will leave grey marks on the tile from the scraper. If the coating product that you are trying to remove was intended for this application then it isn't comming off without a mechanical device. If, IF you were successful you would then have to re-grout the tile, re-calk the tile/tub and you may realise why they covered the tub and tile in the first place. ie: chips cracks, mould? or just ugly tile. To replace a tile tub surround I used to charge about 1000$ including labor and materials. This would also include any drywall repairs that the tile may have been hiding. Most of the time it was easier to remove the tile with the sheet of drywall and re-board the tub area. The tub can be replaced by an honest plumber for well under a 1000$ including time and materials. All of this pricing is realitive to the materials being used. There are some pretty expensive tile and tubs.
I think You should't install ceramice tile in a travel traier for the same reason You dont see sheet rock in them. The walls and floor constantly move..bend and ...shake enouph to crack it everywhere..Your tile job would probably stay on about a week.
In older domestic properties, you may find asbestos in:exterior transite sidinghot water and steam pipe insulationvinyl floor tile and masticspackling compound on sheet rock seams
It depends on the tile, but it will come off only with water.
